The way a creative structure is organized or how a creator architects the work of a team reveals, explicitly or implicitly, his/her worldview and ideas about power, ideology, the world or life. This vision, however, may not be visible or may even contradict the discourse emanating from or summoned by the work created. In the 2022 edition of the Summer School: In practice, we start from this possibility of dissociation. We will take as a driver the growing interest (or need?) for collaborative practices to reflect on their virtues and weaknesses, both on a creative and political level.
In the company of the theatrical collective auéééu and contributions by choreographer Cristina Planas Leitão we will put into practice several modalities of collective work, letting ourselves be affected by its ideological bases, processes, conflicts, consolations and resistances. A programme designed collaboratively as a constellation that explores (ant)agonism, (in)efficacy, (dis)connection, power and equality, and that gives voice to several manifestos, several ways of thinking and making the world. We will start at the end — the apology of collaboration in its various forms of understanding and operationalisation. We will open our body to the instability of these certainties, in a movement of displacement on the models, the known practices of coexistence. We will end as in the beginning of things: with more questions.

The auéééu, a company founded in 2014 by 9 actors, was born from the desire to think about creation as a collective, in a horizontal power relationship in which diversity and chaos are valued in their artistic construction processes. Combining a political thought, his shows opt for the creation of a dramaturgy and writing for the scene of his own authorship.
With a multidisciplinary aesthetic language, whose experimentation is based on literary, philosophical, cinematographic and performative research, the company seeks to design territories of encounter through what can be called a “sensitive body” – a body that feels and thinks while writing. Aware of this scenic game, he uses reality within fiction and fiction within reality.
The auéééu have presented their creations in several theaters across the country, including F TNDMII and SãoLuizTM, O Desprezo CCB, A Nossa Cidade, by Thornton Wilder, collective creation auééu, Os Possessos and Teatro da Cidade -TBA and T.Viriato, CCB red ink missing, TNDMII Tradition
The auéééu are: Beatriz Brás, Filipe Velez, Frederico Barata, Joana Manaças, João Luís Silva, João Santos, Miguel Cunha and Sérgio Coragem.
